I only take on a handful of weddings each year so I can give every single couple my absolute best. For me, it’s all about creating a genuine connection and making sure we are a perfect fit. My style leans into honest, documentary storytelling—capturing real, unscripted moments rather than stiff, forced poses. I want to feel less like a vendor with a checklist and more like a friend documenting your day as it naturally unfolds. If that sounds like your vibe, I would love to chat!

1. do you photograph other types of sessions or weddings?

It depends, if I have availability and if we some sort of connection and you're good humans, lol. But seriously, don't hesitate to reach out and ask, you never know!

2. how can i see your availability?

You just have to click on a session type to view my availability.

3. what do we do if it rains?

We reschedule. And honestly, I prefer a day with sunshine for beautiful lighting. I don't mind rescheduling as much as needed. I have days blocked off specifically for rescheduling.

4. Do you offer hair & makeup?

No, that's something you handle on your own. There are so many options out there now and I don't like teaming up with someone to force you to go to someone so I can get a kickback. Most people have their favorite person anyway. I also should note that I don't heavily promote hair/makeup due to the unpredicatable Ohio weather. We may have to reschedule your session multiple times so it makes me somewhat nervous if your hair/makeup provider isn't flexible.

5. Do choose the location?

Upon booking you will fill out a questionnaire choosing "location styles" that helps us determine locations we will use. I have spent hours scouting locations so I will give you my recommendations based on your style choices. I am of course open to hearing about specific locations but prefer using locations I use frequently as it benefits both of us. Locations over 60 miles away will incur a mileage fee.

6. do you have a studio?

No, but you can add on studio rental time that I will invoice you for. Studio rental is usually around $80/hour. I still would want to do some of the photos outdoors as well.

7. can i bring props or pets?

Yes, both are welcomed! I do suggest we take the pet photos at the beginning of the session and make sure you bring someone to take the pet home or take care of it during the session.
